Ordering and manufacturing questions
Do you manufacture to sample, or only to drawing?
Either. A worn sample is the most common starting point — we take the dimensions from the part itself. A dimensioned drawing works equally well. Where neither exists, the motor make, frame size and rating give us somewhere to begin.
Will a replacement part fit without modification?
That is the point of manufacturing to sample. Mounting centres, bore and keyway, box clearances, lead lengths and terminal styles are copied from the original so the part goes straight in. Nothing should need re-machining at your end.
Can you supply a matched set rather than a single part?
Yes, and for brush gear it is usually the better choice. New rings running against worn brushes in worn holders will not give full life, so supplying rings, brushes and holders together makes the overhaul worthwhile.
What information do you need for a quote?
