How we make connection plates
A terminal board has to do two things at once: carry full motor current through a low-resistance joint, and keep the phases properly separated. We machine terminals from solid brass and mount them on phenolic bases with fibre spacers setting the creepage distance, using copper bus links or fuse-clip contacts as the original design requires. Mounting hole centres, stud sizes and overall footprint are copied from your existing board so the replacement bolts into the terminal box without drilling or modification. Boards are made to sample or drawing for motors rated 200 HP to 1500 HP.

What is a motor connection plate?
It is the insulated board inside the motor terminal box that the winding leads and the incoming cables land on. It holds the phase terminals apart at a safe distance and provides the links that set the winding connection — star or delta — for the motor.
Can you copy an existing terminal board?
Yes. Send the old board, even if it is cracked or burnt, and we reproduce the terminal layout, stud sizes, mounting centres and overall size so the new one fits the same terminal box.
What rating range do you manufacture?
